Blackpool Central Pier New Waltzer Build Up Part 2 Central Piers New Maxwell 10 car Waltzer Begins Build Up after an almost year long absence of a spin n puke attraction on the famous boardwalk. The ride was new to Walter Shufflebottom of Clarence Pier in 1964, and was originally known as Walt’s Waltzer. In April 1983 the ride was purchased by Jimmy Godden for use at Pleasurama Amusement Park, Ramsgate, at the end of 1988 the ride was sold to Keith Emmett. Emmett operated a small amount of rides on a seasonal basis at Cosgrove Park in Milton Keynes, and the Waltzer joined these for one season. At the end of the 1989 season the ride joined the travelling circuit with showman John Scarrott.
