A work of genius... featuring Hendrix on guitar and the first and last tracks (with Dave Mason on sitar) plus Paul McCartney producing (all or some of it.) The music is hardly what I'd call psychedelic but the poetry of (Roger) McGough certainly is as trippy as you like, yet hilarious on occasion. (Mike) McGear being Paul McCartney's younger brother, also had two great albums under his name (MGear, not McCartney) in the 70s and the self-titled one is really a Wings album in disguise. Another that I was recently shocked and surprised to discover I never knew existed. That's on You Tube in full but this wasn't and obviously I thought it more than deserved to be. This is the one and only LP release by two thirds of Liverpool act The Scaffold and it's almost unheard of. Crazy... IMO. Oh, and, sorry I'm too lazy to add track times etc. Someone else would be more than welcome to do so. Thank you.
