MALACCA ENSEMBLE (Indonesian World Music) Malacca Ensemble was formed in 2007, this initial formation of the idea of Lamiri Hendri. Hendri gathered his friends, like as: Yaser Arafat, Indro Harjodikoro, Rio Zee Rinaldo, Faisal, Ferry, Butonk Olala, Eunique Shalom, Oky, Dony, Mul'am, Iwan Wiradz. From the discussion Hendri, Yaser Arafat, Indro and Butong, then formed Malacca Ensemble. Malacca Ensemble is Indonesian World Music with a theme raised by Indonesia's traditional ethnic music into modern musics. Making a song composition, Malacca Ensemble does not eliminate the elements of traditional shades of Indonesia and even collaborate some ethnic world music elements such as: China, Arabian, Eastern Europe, India. Western music as an effect and a manifestation of the discipline. Malacca Ensemble also aspires to preserve and develop the Indonesian ethnic music. This group also had to follow several prestigious events such as SIEM in Solo. Malaka Jazz Festival, Java Jazz Festival, and several event festivals in Europe and Asia. Musicians of Malacca Ensemble are composers, multi talent and can play a variety of ethnic and modern instruments. Last Formation of Malacca Ensemble: 1. Hendri Lamiri : Violinist & Composer 2.
