"Astable Exhalation" - a 2020 inspired circuit sculpture

I made a circuit sculpture using a classic 2 NPN transistor astable multivibrator and a pair of my VU meter (aka analog lightsaber) circuits. It is completely analogue and consists entirely of discrete components - most of which were recycled from old electronics. There are no microcontrollers, no ICs, no 555 timers. I used brass wire typically used in jewelry making to guide the overall shape which draws its inspiration from the events of 2020. The title I've given the sculpture: "Astable Exhalation" I didn't use a rigid rig to hold the components prior to soldering. The entire piece was "sculpted" in an organic fashion so there are very few straight lines or right angles. It runs on 5-6V. This project is documented here https://hackaday.io/project/175570-as...
