Follow me on a 4 day city trip to Bulgaria´s beautiful capital of Sofia. Showing you my personal highlights such as the Alexander-Newski-cathedral, the old bath house, the old Zum shopping center and the stalinistic architecture of the 50s on our historical walking tour thru Sofia and the main square with the ruins of the Roman Empire beneath. I take you to a public viewing of a the final European soccer match between Spain vs. Germany. We take you the local Bulgarian cuisine and show you the most traditional dishes. Nevertheless i take you to Sofia´s most popular shopping mall, the paradise center. Followed by a day tour to the seven Rila lakes on a mountain climb to the top with its gorgeous scenery, the untouched nature and its snowy mountains. Afterwards we take you to the world famous UNESCO world heritage sight of the RILA monastery. On the third day we did a full day trip to Skopje, North-Macedonia which will be screened on the next episode. On the last day we enjoyed a SPA day at the infinity SPA at a lake southeast of Sofia before flying home. Enjoy the beauty and the warmhearted hospitality of Bulgaria!
