Why? Well, the Hyatt Regency has it all! It’s a fantastic family resort in Maui, but it can also be a relaxing oasis for a honeymoon at a lower cost than some of the other Maui honeymoon resorts (like Hotel Wailea or the Andaz Maui.) Golf is nearby, a fantastic on-site spa, and even an adults-only pool. The Hyatt Regency Maui is at the south end of the famous Ka’anapali Beach. Its location makes it perfect for exploring all of West Maui. The island is fairly small, so popular things to do in Maui, such as the Road to Hana, Molokini Crater, and Haleakala Sunrise, are all easily accessible. Hyatt Regency Maui is located on 40 oceanfront acres in Ka’anapali. It underwent a massive renovation in 2020, and everything is practically brand new! The pools are often on “best pools in Hawaii” lists, and there are plenty of amenities and restaurants onsite. With 806 guest rooms and 31 suites, this is a larger resort - but not too large. It has everything you need but isn’t quite as large as some of the mega-resorts, making it easy to find your way around. One of the best features of the Hyatt Regency Maui? The wildlife!! Several penguins (African penguins) call the Hyatt Regency Maui home. There are also plenty of birds and other wildlife on the property, as you’ll see in the video. Please note that while all of Maui is open and welcoming visitors, this particular part of Maui was only closed for a short time and has been open again for several months.
