The second Christmas video this year, was the event that was canceled last year that hit me the most. For the first time in almost 2 years it was great to finally see my favorite Berkshire, Pere Marquette 1225, the Real Polar Express pull her signature excursion on the first weekend in December! However this year it was uncertain. But with a fire up in September, and a post from the group the follow Wednesday dates were announced. Returning with the North Pole Express from Owosso to Ashley, the Real Polar Express was back. Originally getting roped into two weekends, I eventually settled with just the First Weekend in December. Shot on a Sunny backlit saturday, Evening run, and an Overcast Sunday, enjoy my first 4K Chase with the real Polar Express. She looked great, without the flying numberboards and it was fantastic hearing her Whistle for the first time since January of 2019. She also had a C&O Hooter on as well to which sounded great. So sit back and enjoy my chase with my favorite Berkshire locomotive. Canceling plans last weekend, to make this a Mega video was well needed with the usual stuff around the Holidays. But getting refueled and Charged for my last video of 2021, and the Debut I Have been waiting for since starting this channel is now here. If all goes well, my Christmas video this year will be the Public debut of the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad 1309.
