In this video you will see a local fish market with lots of different kinds of deshi fish! Most of them are live! The video was captured in a small village of Bogra, Bangladesh! Bogra is a distinct city of the northan part of Bangladesh! Bangladesh is a land of rivers. Besides lots of rivers there are different types of low lands called pukur (pond), bill, jhil, howor, khal etc. So Bangladesh has huge amount of different types of fish. Some of the sweet water fish called rui, katla, mrigel, boal, sowul, chitol, kalbaus, magur, sing, tengra, puti, koi, pabda etc. Besides rivers and ponds the south side of Bangladesh is surrounded by sea called Bay of Bengal. So we have plenty of sea fish too. Some of sea fish named lakkha, churi, lathia, ilish, loitta etc. Fishing is a part of daily life of our village fermers. Bangladeshi people love fish!
