DSR Project Car (DSR-009-C99-Wira LE) Once advertised as only needing a roll cage to be rally ready, the Proton Wira 1.8 EXi DOHC is a FIA Homologated Special Edition was and is an understated legend. Powering a 1.8-litre motor in a C99 chassis, fitted with 80s/90s prerequisites - Momo steering wheel and Recaro seats, coupled with a sporty tuned suspension and signature twin tailpipe muffler, it was a dream sedan equivalent to anything labelled 'M' or 'R' from German and Japanese marques, and built at a time when there was nothing in its class that could truly compete. DSR has put in the hours building it up to equal or better than factory standards, for decades of further enjoyment from it's new owner. The word 'Legend' is oft-used but in this case, it's well-deserved.
