When most gamers think of Soviet forces in WWII, there's one thing that comes to mind: lots, and lots of infantry. Now, that needn't always be the base, but for games like Bolt Action or Chain of Command, having extra bodies to throw on the table doesn't hurt! Options are always a good thing. So whether you're looking to paint reinforcements as quickly as possible or want to surprise a gaming buddy with an unexpected new army, one-coat paints like Contrast, Xpress, and Speedpaints to the rescue! Check out Tale of Painters' remarkable comparison of almost all the one-coat paints on the market right now: https://taleofpainters.com/2023/11/to... 00:00 - Intro 01:17 - Priming Notes 01:40 - Painting Time! 10:10 - The Finished Soviets Thanks to Producer Patrons Alan, Kyrie, Andrew, Jimmy, Rod, Phil, Robison, Woodcock, David Kinney, and Matt Dischner - as well as all the other Patrons that made this video possible, and Exit23 Games for recording equipment that helps keep the channel ticking over! Drybrush with something like Vallejo Dark Sand, then apply patches of PVA and static grass. Finish with a couple of tufts, I've used Mountain Tufts from Army Painter.
