Less than 3 weeks following my first symptom, I had a robotically-assisted radical nephrectomy to remove my left kidney along with a large tumour. The following videos were recorded in the days and weeks following surgery and cover both my physical and mental recovery. The journey continues and good days follow bad days and so on. As a friend once said “you spend a lifetime recovering from cancer” and I agree.
