New Quake 1 like movement. Now with camera effects and swimming. I didn't like the previous version (which was based on a contribution made by WiggleWizard, and it was Quake3 like movement with CPM (air control) - link below), so I had to rewrite everything from scratch. Quake 1 source code is a big find for me. So far I got working: acceleration/friction from quake (allowing strafe jump, etc) advanced gravity that allows smooth movement down the slopes ellipsoid bbox hull fix (to prevent autoclimbing on high edges when jumping) sliding on steep slopes (a bit wanky but works) different surface friction (f.e. ice) swimming with diving and edge detection (to jump out of the water) proper rocket jumping and radius damage calculations all camera effects from quake 1 (idle camera, bobbing, leaning, recoil, damage, Z smoothing) basic cheats/console commands (god and noclip atm) basic state machine Next thing to add: good looking console sfx jumping pads weapons WiggleWizard Quake3 CPM: https://github.com/WiggleWizard/quake...
