Munich, summer 2025.

I started my Euro 2025 trip in Munich. I visited Fraenkirche and saw the devil's footprint! This place is massive and a must-see. I then walked down to Theatinerkirche which is a strange shade of yellow outside but the white interior is stunning. I crossed to the Residence Palace and walked the grounds before heading to Marienplatz. This square is the heart of Munich and is home to Altes Rathaus which I had a look around inside next. On to the Viktualienmarkt which was very lively and bustling. On my way to find food I popped in to Asamkirche, which is tiny in comparison to other churches, but well worth a visit. After food I got soaked in a downpour. On my last morning I sought out the Victory Gate as it was near to my intended destination the "leaflets in stone" at the L.M.U. This memorial to the White Rose took a bit of finding but I got there!
