👋 After driving the all new 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1, it really made me reminisce about the Boss 302 Mustang. So today I take out the 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 and talk about how it compared to the new 2021 Mach One Mustang. This is a raw mustang to drive with a ton of power! The new Mach One is a very analog Muscle car with the Tremec 6 speed manual, magnetic ride suspension, 12in LCD gauge cluster and a lot of track focused technology. The new Mach 1 even used parts form the Shelby Mustangs to really ramp things up! The older Boss Mustang has the MT 6 Speed manual tranmission, but it feels nice and tight just like the Tremec. And while it has the solid rear axle and fixed suspension, it still handles well! The Boss feels like an older version of the new Mach 1 but feels at home in the higher RPM and back roads. The Bullitt Mustang and Shelby GT350 are also similar naturally aspirated Mustang that have a raw feeling.
