Check out more videos here:    • The World of Ferrari   Last week, we focused on removing the transmission from this Ferrari F430 and replacing the clutch, flywheel, and release bearing. While we were in there, I also made the initial internal modifications required to convert the gearbox to true OEM manual configuration — setting the stage for this F1-to-gated manual conversion using the Cambio Manuale kit. With that foundational work complete, this week we dive into the next major phase of the Ferrari 430 manual swap. The goal: remove the factory F1 hydraulic system, delete the F1 actuator, and begin installing the Cambio Manuale manual shift assembly, clutch master cylinder, and pedal setup. And… this is where things get interesting. Because this F430 is a late-production car, it did not come with factory provisions for a clutch master cylinder, which means some unexpected fabrication and modifications were required to make the manual conversion fit and function properly. In this video, I walk through the challenges, solutions, and real-world steps needed to install the clutch pedal and hydraulics when converting a late-build F430 to a gated manual.
