First off, dealing with Normal Shinnok is not too hard; the character has several openings that you can exploit (especially on Necromancer), so its really just a matter of finding the right rhythm with your character. I had some issues here since Kotal Kahn has some very slow, very open movements, which make him extremely vulnerable to Shinnok ground blast reversal, but once you get used to it it is not a hard fight at all. Now, with Corrupted Shinnok, this is where things get interesting. As you can tell, if you make one mistake CS can take out 60% of your health in a blink, but there is an opening on his patterns that Kotal could exploid beatifully; if you get close to CS and time your jump preciselly, you can dodge his attacks (especially his dreaded fire blast) and connect a combo. There is a very high chance that he will react in time and block your attacks or catch you when you are behind him, but Kotal was able to overcome this by using an air back-punch that led right into a combo. It´s an advanced technique and not every character is proficient with it, but it is very effective and you can exploit it to take Corrupted Shinnok in one try.
