It's road trip time! We're leaving Birdsville behind and heading to Alice Springs on a little outback Queensland road trip! Birdsville to Bedourie then Boulia before crossing into our 6th State and Territory for the trip... the Northern Territory! Look out here we come. Bedourie surprised us with an amazing public swimming pool and hot springs as well as the historic hotel and a decent playground for the kids. Our battles with a ferocious headwind leave us dangerously short of fuel as we try and make our way into Boulia, another great little outback town. A beaut lunch stopover at the park and playground in town before we turn west and head to the NT border before calling into Tobermory station for a well-earned break.
