LEIGHTON MOSS RSPB Nature Reserve - Places to Visit in LANCASHIRE | Silverdale and Morecambe Bay

Highlights of our recent day out at Leighton Moss RSPB in Silverdale! It is one of our favourite RSPB places to visit and you can apparently see 200+ species of bird here including ones we saw on the day such as Marsh Harriers and Bitterns. At least we think we saw a Bittern Flight as this is what other birders in the Hide were saying, but perhaps you can confirm that in the comments for us. The Marsh Harrier was also an amazing watch but we are a little sad we didn't see a Bearded Tit 😢 We also enjoyed some food and coffee in the cafe and mention some of the facilities on offer including the gift shop! There is free parking available across the road from the centre and there is also a bus stop just outside. Silverdale Railway station is just next to the car park too! A great family day out in Lancashire. We didn't want to disturb the bird watchers and wildlife too much so this video was a quiet and hopefully relaxing one 😊 With flexible membership fees RSPB locations really do offer great value days out and we have some excellent ones in Lancashire and other parts of the North West of England too!
