Many thanks to Drunk Beaver for sending me this pedal! The Taras Bulba is a fantastic fuzz pedal that instantly became a favourite of mine. Based on the Tone Bender circuit includes apart from the usual Volume, Gain (Attack) and EQ (Hi-cut) knobs a Bias knob, two modes (MK 1.5 and MK II) and a pickup sim so that you can place it anywhere in your chain and an Impedance knob that works similarly to your guitar volume knob when the pickup sim is engaged. MK 1.5 is really great for classic fuzz sounds and the dying battery effect and MK II has the most incredible sustain and great clarity for lead guitar.
