The progressively ageing popolation in addition to the young people depature looking for jobs or more exiting life is empting these small centers. This phenomenon with the addition of the low, very low, birth rate is causing the death of most of these small centers and of their long history. This Tedx wants to assert that a different future is possible. After the degree in Statistcs and Demografic Science at Roma University and a Master in Sociology and social research in Roma University, he has chosen an University Course of Study . He has been professor in Several Institute of Cagliari University, Director of "Scienze Politiche" Institute and , now, Dipatment Director. He has been advisor in several publics project, of several public authorities and member in several public institutions. For five years, he was President of SFIRS, the Financial Company of the "Regione Auonoma della Sardegna" This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
