Join us for a walk around beautiful Grassington, in the Yorkshire Dales. If you've ever watched Channel 5's hugely successful 'All Creatures Great and Small', starring Sam West, you'll recognise Grassington as Darrowby. The show is filmed on location, and Grassington's main square - heavily featured in this video - is where much of the series is located. The veterinary practice / residence (Skeldale House), The Drover's Arms, the local shops, post office, etc., are all situated around the square. Grassington is an extremely picturesque village in the always-fabulous Yorkshire Dales. We walk around the main square, as well as taking a hilly walk around the rest of the village. We stayed in nearby Masham, but found Grassington to be very accessible by car - with plentiful parking, and local buses serve the village. We visited Yorkshire in August 2024.
