Mariehavens Drøm - Sarah Rootveld Harp Music

This song was inspired by and dedicated to Helge Engelbrecht and Tommy Thiel Rasmussen. Two amazingly talented musicians and artists from Denmark. Mariehavens drøm means Mariehavens dream. Mariehaven is the place in a town Ansager in Denmark where they have concerts all year round. I have never been there but have seen concerts on Danish tv: "Sommersang i Mariehaven". It looks absolutely wonderful. That's where Helge and Tommy perform with their band Neighbours & Friends, an absolutely fantastic band. This is how I saw and felt the music as I composed it, the dream of being at Mariehaven: The first part tells how Mariehaven awakens in the morning, the sun starts to shine, the birds start singing and everything is getting ready for the audience to come and enjoy music. The second part is when the audience is there, music is being played and everyone is enjoying themselves. The third and last part is when the audience is gone, the moon rises and the stars start twinkling in the night sky. It gets quiet again and slowly everything at Mariehaven goes to sleep. I hope you will enjoy this melody, it came straight from my heart.
