"Recherche" itself comes from the Old French “Recerchier,“ Which is a combination of “Re-" (again) and “Cerchier" (to search). It means "to go about seeking" or “to search again” MEANING OF RESEARCH The word “ Research” is composed of prefix “ Re” and a verb “ Search”. Re means- Once again, a new or a fresh. Search Means – To look for something or examine closely and carefully to look for information to test and try or to prove.
