Hey friends! Today's video is all about how to do the belly dance figure of 8 :) The figure of 8 is a combination of hip twists and hip slides. Start by twisting your right hip forward, slide the hip diagonally forward and then twist the hip back, now slide your left hip diagonally forward and twist it back - Easy eh! Remember to imagine you have an infinity sign or a 'figure of 8' turned on its side on the floor and try and trace out the shape with your hips. Remember practise is key to getting your belly dance movements better and better!
