As we drove into the town of Reitz, we were immediately struck by the expansive site of the Agricultural Show Grounds, home to the renowned Bieliemielie Festival. Luck was on our side as we found an open gate and decided to take a spontaneous drive through the grounds and wishes the Festival were ongoing at the time of our visit. Much to our surprise, the town itself was larger than expected, yet utterly captivating. Amidst the urban landscape, we spotted springbok and other antelope grazing on a sizable plot of land, adding to the town's charm. The sight of the picturesque Town Hall further heightened our experience, and navigating the streets of this Free State town filled us with a sense of awe.
