This is sure the easiest mortise and tenon joint that we can make. A round mortise and tenon joint. It looks like a fantastic woodworking idea, but making a round mortise is quite easy if we have a drill press, or without a drill press if we have a more simple drill support. We just need a forstner bit to drill the hole. And making a round tenon is not very difficult neither if we have a router table with the fence, a stop block and a straight router bit. So, using a straight router bit and a simple woodworking technique is quite easy to make a round tenon. The best part is that I don't need a special round tenon cutter or a round tenon jig. No complicated woodworking tips and tricks, just a simple woodworking technique. And I also use a wooden wedge to reinforce this woodworking joint. Here I use the same woodworking technique to route some moldings in the end of some wood rods: • Router Table TRICK with MOLDING Router Bits Here you can find the drill support, or similar, that I use in this video: https://geni.us/guia-talad-tecmobil-1s (Amazon) And here some very interesting forstner bit kits: https://geni.us/forstner-bits-cmt-1 (Amazon) https://geni.us/forstner-bits-irwin-1 (Amazon) https://geni.us/forstner-bits-bosch-1 (Amazon) As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
