For me, I have a simple, but effective, way of keeping those maintenance logs. I create template in excel and then record the date, number of hours on the bike, and the description of service. If it’s a carbureted bike, I might even list my current jetting specs for that bike. This makes it really nice when you want to go back and look at when the last time was the the bike had a gear oil change, or something else like that. It also helps give potential buyers down the road more peace of mind that you know your stuff and took good care of the bike. That will make selling the bike easier.
