/ christiansantangelo Hello friends! This is video of me playing along to The Traveling Wilbury's "Handle With Care". I figured out that I could hook up my M-Audio 8 channel interface to my Apollo interface. I had no idea I could also track through plugins on the Apollo via the channels on the Profire, so I decided to use this to my advantage. All the microphones are being run through UA's API Vision console plugin on the way in. I added some gentle eq and compression in post as well as some reverb. At the same time, I've been searching for a nice set of microphones for a live setup and I think I've found it. I would like to find an alternative to the Sennheiser MD421 Mkii on the toms; they are quite large and bulky, but they sound very full. I've thought about going after the set of Telefunken drum microphones, but I'm pretty happy with this setup... Great old song! Enjoy! The drummer on the original track was Jim Keltner (credited as Buster Sidebury); you can still hear his playing in the background of the mix. --- Handle With Care - The Traveling Wilbury's from the 1988 release Traveling Wilbury's Vol. 1 is the copyrighted property of its owner(s). https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/tra... --- Drums used: Gretsch USA Custom 14x20" Kick, 8x12" Rack Tom, and 16x16" Floor Tom.
