I stayed up in the attic, where I had met the Loner playing the guitar, and there was no sign of him on this return trip. The weather was nasty, visibility was poor and I was waiting for some sign of men or mutants. Eventually I got down and went up the hill where I had defeated the Pseudogiant, but saw nothing and no one. I went to the west where I found a Duty squad around a campfire. They eventually broke up, and half went down towards the swamp. I contiunued westward through the woods and boulders on the upper bluff and then descended down where I had seen a Monolith transmitter lodged in a homemade monument of limbs and wood. This time there were not a dozen Zombies here, like in my two previous expeditions passing by. There were a few bodies and as I was looking around, I was attacked by Bandits. After killing and looting them, only finding two of three of their weapons, I realized they must have been hiding on the barge. I went through the mashes to get on the barge and then saw a small boat at the other end, with several long dead Bandits on it. That is when I was attacked by a Poltergeist. After the battle where I exhausted a huge amount of buckshot, I recovered Banzai's Tools and went back the same way I had come since leaving the Dutyers at this campfire. This time I did not return to the Bloodsucker Village but instead went south on the hills nearby it and then back to the Army Warehouses, where I met a Ward squad again. I started to drop off the looted weapons there at my second-floor stash but decided I could drop it instead in my personal stash back at Banzai's Burnt Forest base. To my surprise it was no longer there, and someone had cleaned out the base of everything I had seen there earlier. Banzai's companion named Scoutmaster, was waiting for me and I had new tasks and new mutants to face. Game Note:
