Welcome back to my channel friends. Me and Al spent 10 days on Oceania Allura last month. We both had an amazing time. In this vlog we are visiting 5 Caribbean Islands in 5 days and we are booked 5 excursions, one on each island. 1. First stop San Juan in Puerto Rico. February 12, 2026. We visited an Organic farm. Chef-Led Hydroponic Farm Visit and Tapas. I even milked a goat :). Frutos Del Guacabo, check it out, its worth a visit! 500 years old San Juan is the Capital of Puerto Rico. Music and dance, rich history, good food and drink. Local dishes are hearty and deeply flavorful. Try mofongo, mashed fried green plantains often filled with seafood. Whether wandering historic streets, exploring lush landscapes or relaxing on a sunlit beach, San Juan offers a compelling blend in heritage. 2. Our next stop Friday 23, 2026 is Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis. Our excursions is ST. Kitts Scenic Rail and Sail. St. Kitts Scenic Railway , once used to transfer sugarcane, now carries passengers on a leisurely ride through lush countryside and historic estates. Our next part of our excursions involved sailing. Beach lovers gravitate to the golden sands of Frigate Bay or take short ferry to tranquil Nevis for snorkeling and laid-back charm. Basseterre is one of the oldest towns in the Eastern Caribbean. Founded by French in 1627. Over centuries, Basseterre endured fires, earthquakes, hurricanes and conflict, yet its compact downtown still preserves a remarkable collection of restored 19th Century buildings and historic landmarks. 3. February 14, 2026 Castries, St. Lucia. St. Lucia is the sort of island that travelers dream about. A small lush, tropical gem that is still relatively unknown. St. Lucia is only 27 miles long and 14 miles wide. with a shape that is said to resemble either a mango or an avocado. Touch the Pitons. Its dramatic twin coastal peaks, the Pitons, soar 2,000 feet up from the sea, sheltering magnificent rain forests where wild orchids, giant ferns and birds of paradise flourish. The natural rainforest is broken only by verdant fields and orchards of banana, coconut, mango and papaya trees. It was long believed that Columbus had discovered St, Lucia in 1502, but recent evidence suggests that he merely sailed close by. An alternative discoverer is Juan de La Cosa, a lesser-known explorer who had served at one time as Columbus' navigator. 4. Our next stop is Roseau, Dominica. Roseau is one the smallest capitals in the Caribbean. To walk through Roseau is to stroll through a living tapestry of history. Just a short journey from the city center you find yourself wading through freshwater pools beneath the 200 foot drop of Trafalgar Falls. Whale and Dolphin Safari. Although we not seen any dolphins, the first time in my life I've seen whales. Humpback whales and Pilot whales. Animals in the Ocean. The Atlantic Ocean is home to a wide variety of aquatic plant life and marine animals. Lemon sharks occupy shallow waters not far away from the shore. Their names comes from yellow-brown to olive-green color of their torso. The Humpback whale's name is derived from the dorsal fin, which looks like a hump. They cover more distance in migration compared to other mammals, mainly for reproduction and feeding purposes. They feed on fish, plankton and krill and can eat up to 1,360 kilograms daily. They can weigh between 22,000 and 36,000 kilograms and they grow to about 18 meters in length. Females of this species grow larger compared to the males. Their bodies are long and streamlined and their pectoral fins are longer than those of the cetaceans. Pilot Whales are actually the second-largest member of the oceanic dolphin family, after orcas. Known for their highly social, tight-knit, matriarchal pods and deep-diving capabilities. Often called cheetahs of the deep seas, they dive over 1,000 meters to hunt squid. They are identified by their bulbous, melon shaped heads and, in males, a thick, curved dorsal fin. They are not whales, despite their name, pilot whales are dolphins. They have exceptionally large brains relative to their body size. Females can live up to 60 years. 5. Our last stop is Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas Located on the picturesque island of Saint Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Charlotte Amalie is a vibrant harbor town steeped in history, culture and Caribbean charm. The year round warm tropical climate makes it an ideal destination for sun-seekers. We chose a scenic Island Tour to Sy. John Island. I hope you enjoy spending time with us and see you soon, bye friend. #caribbean #holiday #whales #rainforecast #goodfood
