How to marble nails tutorial using Sistaco powder, gel nail varnish and uv lamp

Marble is a great beginner nail art to try. If you don’t have a steady hand, perfect it will add to the effect! You could just do this quickly in one step (follow step 2) if you’re short on time, but I’ve gone in three times with my marble colour. Before I started I’ve already done my base colour and cured under my lamp. And because I’m using my Sistaco powders I mixed l a little of the colour powder with the top coat to make a colour paint. 1 - Paint on some squiggly lines (like lightning bolts, or cracks in ice) with a fine brush. Dip another brush in alcohol and smudge your original lines. For step one I’ve kept the brush quite wet with the alcohol and washed most of it away to give faint background markings. The alcohol with dry off quickly then cure under your lamp. 2 - Paint on more squiggly lines roughly over your first. This time I dabbed some of the excess alcohol off my brush first and smudged the lines but kept some definition. Cure under the lamp. 3 - Paint on your final set of fine squiggly lines that you want to keep visible. This time I don’t wash them away and I just cure them as they are under the lamp. Because I love a bit of sparkle I then added some pink along my lines and set. You could add any glitter or gold leaf you want at this stage. Then when you’re happy top coat and cure under your lamp. Products I used were Sistaco. Colours ice white for my background, sage for the marble and dusty rose for the highlights.
