SAD! MACHAKOS BOYS SECONDARY SCHOOL CLOSED INDEFINITELY AFTER FIRE RAZED DOWN A DORMITORY

Students of Machakos boys were yesterday morning sent home following a night fire that consumed one wing of Mathendu dormitory. Property of unknown value was consumed by fierce flames of fire forcing a number of students to be hosted by their colleques in other dormitories Education officials visited the school and ordered the students to vacate the premises to allow investigations to be carried out. Parents flocked the school gates this mornig to pick their children following a communiqué from the school management last night that required them to pick their kids at 10;00 am from the school compound. The regional tsc director david cherutoi requested all stakeholders to be on the look out against any foulplay over the incident,calling on Kenya power to step in and provide report whether their was any electric fault. Mathendu house is the second dormitory to catch fire in Machakos school with in a span of a week,after otieno senior dormitory faced a similar incident .
