UPDATE - Alaska Liquid Organic Fish Fertilizer For Plants & Vegetables - When & How - Plant Results

Alaska Liquid Organic Fish Fertilizer - UPDATE In this episode I will talk about the steps I take for applying fish fertilizer to my plants and vegetables in my raised garden bed and in containers. I will also show you the results of applying fish emulsion and some before and after pictures and videos. How to mix Alaska Liquid Organic Fish Fertilizer For established plants, both decorative (hibiscus, etc.) and vegetables, I mix 1 tbsp of fish fertilizer into 1 gallon of water. This is enough for about 8 or 9 plants. *Shake the fish fertilizer well before opening, as stuff tends to settle at the bottom of the bottle. 2. How to use and apply Alaska Liquid Organic Fish Fertilizer For my raised garden bed vegetables, I pour the mixed fish fertilizer and water around the base of each plant (tomatoes & bell peppers). I always apply the emulsion on the night that I'm supposed to water my garden. I apply the same principle for my container plants (jalapeno peppers, cucumbers and string beans). 3. When to apply Alaska Liquid Fish Fertilizer On average, I apply the fish fertilizer every 10 days. If it's a new transplant and it needs extra boost (like the cucumbers in the video), I might do it every 3-4 days in the beginning. And I always apply it in the evening. 4. How much Alaska Liquid Fish Fertilizer do I put on my plants Normally, about 1 1/2 gallon of mixed fish fertilizer and water is enough for about 7 tomato plants and 7 bell pepper plants in my raised garden bed. The same amount is enough for 6 string bean plants in containers, 2 jalapeno peppers, & 4 cucumber plants in pots. Q & A: 1. Is fish fertilizer good for tomato flowering? fish fertilizer is good for tomatoes but it doesn't boost flowering. I use Dr. Earth fertilizer to encourage flowering in all of my vegetables (see this video:    • How To Plant Tomatoes & Peppers into Raise...  ) 2. Is fish fertilizer good for the lawn I am not sure as I have never made this experiment... I don't think it would hurt. I experimented on a lot of plants - it just doesn't make a difference for some, but I've never destroyed a plant by applying fish fertilizer 3. Is fish fertilizer good for hibiscus yes, it encourages leaf growth (for more blooms use Epsom salt or Dr. Earth fertilizer) 4. Can I use fish fertilizer on seedlings yes, 1 teaspoon of fertilizer deluded in 1 gallon of water 5.
