[Hoquiam, WA] It's the first reunion of the Satsop River Rock Festival in 39 years, and Wishbone Ash makes a return to it during the band's 40th anniversary tour. The original Satsop River Rock Festival was a four-day music festival that was held on a Satsop farm over Labor Day Weekend in 1971. The festival featured several major artists of the time, including: Steve Miller, Wishbone Ash, Flash Cadillac, the Youngbloods, Delaney and Bonnie, Erick Burdon, Billy Preston and War. It's guessed that between 100,000 to 150,000 people attended the original festival. In this video, Wishbone Ash performs their popular 'The King Will Come' from their hit 1972 album, 'Argus'.
