IT: Aver completato per la prima volta 100 trazioni alla sbarra unbroken, stranamente, non restituisce le sensazioni che anni fa, quando a malapena mi dilettavo con 50, avrei immaginato. Anche se io stesso faccio ancora fatica a realizzarlo. Di mio, non sono mai stato il tipo che esulta, anche dopo i traguardi più attesi o i più sbalorditivi. Questo per una semplice ragione: mi sono allenato incessantemente per anni, avvicinandomi gradualmente, lentamente, sempre di più all'obiettivo. E ho raggiunto un livello di forza, resistenza e condizionamento tale che sapevo che avrei potuto prendermi questo trofeo in qualunque momento. La qualità tecnica non è la migliore possibile in assoluto, ma lo è contestualmente: mi rifiuto di sottostare a norme di "correttezza" e "validità" tecnica che diventeranno lo standard, per certe prestazioni, solo negli anni a venire, forse fra 2, forse fra 5 anni, tempo nel quale io stesso continuerò a migliorare, come ho sempre fatto. Queste 100 trazioni sono meglio di quelle di alcuni tentativi di 50 odierni, e quindi vanno prese per ciò che sono: la prima istanza della storia di 100 trazioni fatte con questo stile, in a mala pena due minuti. Un pioniere apre la strada, ha una visione, e quando la realizza, questa potrebbe essere lontana dall'ideale, ma essa diventa concreta, tangibile e raggiungibile per tutti gli altri. Questo, è il significato di NewEra. ENG: Completing 100 pullups unbroken for the first time, strangely enough, doesn't give the feeling that years ago, when I barey dabbled with 50, I would have imagined. Even if I myself still struggle to realize it. I have never been the type to exult, even after the most anticipated or the craziest achievements. This for a simple reason: I trained incessantly for years, gradually, slowly getting ever closer to the objective. And I reached a level of strength, endurance and conditioning such that I could have taken this trophy for me at any moment. The form is not the best possible in absolute terms, but it is contextually: I refuse to submit to norms of "proper" or "valid" form that will become the standard, for some performances, only in the years to come. Maybe in 2, maybe in 5 years, time in which I myself will keep improving, as I've always done. These 100 pullups are better than some's attempt at 50 of today, and should therefore be taken for what they are: the first ever instance in history of 100 pullups done in this style, in barely 2 minutes. A pioneer paves the way, he's got a vision, and when he realizes it, this could be far from the ideal, but it becomes real, tangible and reachable for everybody else.
