Taiwan Traffic: Accident results in eight injuries and two fatalities, one woman dragged more than 3

A highway accident in Taichung, central Taiwan, injured eight and left two people dead after a small black sedan lost control while changing lanes. The driver behind this dashcam footage said he saw the black sedan lose control as it changed lanes and pinball back and forth between the cement guards on either side of the highway. After the sedan finally came to a rest against the outer cement guard two cars who witnessed the accident pulled over into the shoulder to help. The father and son inside the black sedan were shaken but otherwise uninjured. Then suddenly, a van plowed into the two empty cars parked in the shoulder. The impact rolled the van, throwing two passengers from the vehicle. The mother of the van’s driver was run over and dragged more than 30 feet by a tour bus following close behind the van. The other injured individuals were also all inside the van. The two drivers who had stopped to help the sedan rushed to pull people from the van, which was still lying in the middle of the highway. The girlfriend of one of the drivers happened to be a nurse. She ran to check on the other individual thrown from the van, unable to find a pulse she performed CPR until emergency services arrived.
