Order. Order. By Thy word… By Thy word… Before the counting of our days, Before the stars were set ablaze, We honor Thee, Eternal Light, Who called the morning from the night. In holy stillness, Thou didst speak, And chaos bowed, and form grew meek. By law and love Thy works were drawn, Truth established from the dawn. Nothing random, nothing stray, All is held within Thy way. By Thy word… Let the heavens take their place. By Thy will… Worlds are framed by truth and grace. Every soul and every sphere Moves within Thy loving care. From the depths to light above, All creation speaks Thy love. By Thy word… By Thy word… Thou formed the day and softened night, Set the sun to give us light. Wrote Thy laws in wind and sea, Teaching all to follow Thee. Nothing wasted, nothing vain, All things witness Thy domain. Purpose planted, seeds of faith, Guided by Thy righteous way. Every breath that we receive Testifies that Thou dost lead. By Thy word… Let the heavens take their place. By Thy will… Worlds are framed by truth and grace. Every heart that seeks Thy face Finds its rest within Thy peace. From the dust to promised days, All creation sings Thy praise. By Thy word… By Thy word… Not by power sought in pride, Not by crowns the world provides. But by covenant and light, By truth made clear in Thy sight. Thou didst not contend with fear— Thou didst speak, and peace drew near. Thou speakest… And we listen. Thou commandest… And we remember. By Thy word… Let our lives be set in place. By Thy will… Shape our hearts with truth and grace. From first breath to final breath, Guide us through both life and death.
