This view is from the Grand Col Ferret, which is the border between Italy and Switzerland at 2537 meters, or about 8,000’. It was a wonderful day while walking on the tour Mount Blanc. I think this was about day seven.. in the far valley is another pass, the Col de la Seigne which is the border between France and Italy, also at about 8,000’ which we crossed over three days earlier. We basically spent the three days hiking this long valley. It took us 11 days to walk around Mount Blanc, and only on the last day in the morning did we finally catch some rain and quite a bit of sleet and hail. It was over in about an hour and a half. It was a great walk
