Video Clips: Vampire Diaries S1x01 through S2x11. Song: Hands of Time by Rachel Diggs. I really enjoy the Damon Elena dynamic and wanted to try to capture a little bit of that in this video. Damon is sweet to Elena, even though she does not notice it half the time. (She is unconscious or Damon is doing things for her when she isn't around.) And, Elena wants them to be close 'because she's dating Stephan and needs to get used to being around Damon' or so she says. But, she really cares about him. This is shown when she hurts because he hurts. (The hug, the need to reconcile after Stephan and Elena lied to him about the Grimmoir.) In the video there are several instances when you can see the pain Damon is in, dealing with unrequited love. He spent the last 100 years or so acting like an asshole and now he is trying to change all that, which is quite difficult. But he is doing it all for her. I also included six instances where Elena looks at Damon's lips showing that she obviously wants him, though she won't admit to it. Two points I want to note: Point 1. In scene with Damon upset in the Salvator house, Damon is not reacting to Stephan & Elena kissing as my video implies. He just 'killed' Jeremy, but his reaction still has everything to do with Elena. He is upset for how he much he just devastated her. He probably doesn't care too much about wither Jeremy lives or dies personally. Point 2. I included Damon kissing Katherine because I wanted to include the sweet way Damon kisses her. He thinks it is Elena so the feelings are completely genuine on his half.
