While Nigeria struggles with visible crises, one of its annoying problems is the absence of light, which, of course, will annoy you to your bones. The statistics are staggering, but it has become a normal routine in many Nigerians’ lives. In 2025, the national grid collapsed 12 times, which really dealt with us deeply. Per capita electricity consumption has plummeted to a mere 143 kWh per person, a fraction of the global average of 3,649 kWh. For comparison, the average South African consumes over 25 times more electricity than the average Nigerian. We should be in the same league with South Africa, but that is not how we are seeing it. This light problem is so inconvenient that we have to be thinking of tearing our generator down every single time. This fundamental issue still drags the economy backward, makes industries leave the country, and yet again, dims the light of the future of its youth. So, my wonderful viewers, I will just have to explain why the light issues are dragging Nigeria Backward. ============================================ 👉🏿https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/ ============================================ 👉🏿Sponsor/Affiliate Disclaimer: This video may contain affiliate links and sponsored recommendations.
