Dehancer is a colour grading plugin made for Davinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro (FCP) and Adobe Premier Pro. It is designed to be flexible intuitive and help you get the best you can out of your footage! It is easy to include in your color grading workflow, and allows you to use its library built in film emulations and print stocks to create custom looks. It even allows you to export LUTS to be used in your colour grading workflow or in camera on as LUTs to use in your on camera monitor. We all love the cinematic colour grades that you see in movies, rich, dens colours and soft rolled off highlights with raised but rich blacks, this plugin is a way that you can get an easy cinematic colour grade yourself, without having to know everything there is about professional colour grading! The other features of the Dehancer plugin are that it has are Bloom which emulates mist filters such as the Tiffen Pro Mist and Black Pro Mist. You can use the plugin to emulate film grain which it does using algorithms to not just place grain on top but analyse your footage and add it more organically to really get that cinematic film grade! The footage I used in this sequence was shot on Sony FX6 using a NISI black mist filter and the Sigma 24-70 f2.8 ART lens.
