Harlequins played Wasps at Twickenham Stadium on the 27th December 2009 for their second installment of their now annual BIG GAME. The chosen charity for the game was HOPE HIV and £15 from every Big Game 2 shirt sold was donated to them. The Big Game 2 (brought to you by Samsung Mobile and Vodafone 360) was a huge success selling over 75,000 tickets for the day and not even the cold weather could put people off coming to view Figaro, an Abba Tribute band, X Factor finalists Lucie Jones, Jamie Afro Archer and Olly Murs. The entertainment even included an eagle flying in to deliver the match day ball to our very own Mad Max! The Game itself proved a scintillating game of rugby going right down the the wire, but Wasps were to do the double over Quins this season winning 20-21 in the end. Next Years Big Game three promises to be even bigger and we look forward to bringing the fans a day to remember, and hopefully a win!
