In this video i modify my OBP pedal box to fit in my race Clio 172. the idea was to eliminate flex in the box assembly and position it as far away from the driver as possible. looks good. but so far untested. like many things on the Clio race car build. pedal box flex of OBP pedal boxes is a known issue. in order to eliminate pedal box flex i used 4mm steel plate for cylinder assembly and 3mm plate underneath. also 2 centre reinforcing plates out of 3mm. its slightly heavier than original but still a lot lighter than standard Clio 172 pedal box assembly. OBP pedal box modification was the cheaper option rather than buying new assembly. i bought it used at a good price. yes i am cheap sometimes.
