I'm back. Since I was busy upgrading my Dell Inspiron 5555 (but to 5559). So here come the upgrade of 2008 laptop called Sony VAIO FW series VGN-FW53GF. Thing I upgraded: ACOS SSD 512GB (purchased on AliExpress) Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 (purchased on AliExpress) 4GB RAM DDR2 (purchased on AliExpress) As you know, I chose Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 for balance. But if you want more performance, you can pick Intel Core 2 Duo T9900 (3.06GHz, 6MB Level 2 Cache). Intel Core 2 Extreme X9100 also works for this laptop, but more heat and power consumption. To run YouTube smoothly on this laptop, use extension for browser like h264ify (for advance, use h264ify enhancer). One thing to let you know, please buy 3D NAND TLC SSD to improve your laptop performance. Because QLC SSD has a lower endurance, which I avoid using.
