From there, we pay a visit to the legendary Gaping Gill, home to one of the highest unbroken waterfalls in England, where Fell Beck vanishes 98 metres into the earth. The climb up Little Ingleborough is a leg-burner, but the reward is a massive summit plateau with 360-degree views of the Lakeland Fells, Morecambe Bay, and the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct. We'll explore the remains of the Iron Age hill fort at the top before a long, scenic descent through the limestone pavements of Sulber and back down Long Lane.
