Join Layton Hills Baptist Church this #Sunday morning for a #worship thru music, prayer, and the hearing of God's Word. #OnlineChurch #OnlineChurchService #OnlineWorship #OnlineWord Our worship team leads our musical worship thru "It Came Upon A Midnight Clear / Glorious", "The First Noel / Above All", "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing", "O Little Town of Bethlehem", "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel", and closes with "Lord I Need You". This morning, Pastor John Jemar brings a Christmas message from the gospels of Luke (chapter 2) and John (chapter 1) https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/... https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/... In John 1 and Luke 2, the Word who created the world became flesh to reveal God’s glory, invite humble faith, and redeem us through His saving grace. (Revealed, Received, Redeems) The Word REVEALED God Speaks through the Son (John 1:14; John 12:49–50) The same God who spoke the universe into existence now speaks salvation through His Son. The Word RECEIVED The Humility of Faith (Luke 2:7, 15–20; John 12:44–46) God reveals His glory to the humble, not the proud. The Word REDEEMS The Way to Salvation (Luke 2:11; John 12:50) The command of the Father (John 12:50) leads directly to eternal life through the Son. Jesus’ mission from the manger to the cross was to bring eternal life to sinners. The Christmas story is not sentimental but it’s supernatural: God came to rescue, not to decorate. If the eternal Word of God became flesh so that you could have eternal life, what is keeping you from receiving Him today? If God is moving in your heart to respond to the message, the church can be reached confidentially via email at contact@laytonhills.org or via phone at +1(801)544-2426.
