Building an 8' x 12' hoop house from pvc and 2x4s

In this video I document the process for building a hoop house measuring 8' wide by 12' long by 7' tall at the peak. I used half inch pvc pipes for the main hoops, 2x4" lumber for the base frame, 1x2" lumber to attach the greenhouse plastic. The greenhouse plastic was ordered online from a company called Farmer's Friend. I built the hoop house over my manual well pump because I wanted to protect it from frost and have a comfortable space to pump water during winter or rain. I will be attempting to grow cold hearty plants like Kale and Spinach in the hoop house as well. Next year, I would like to use this as a space to start seedlings early as well. I might end up installing a heat source in here like a barrel stove or rocket mass heater
