Christina, who lives near Washington, D.C., shares her passion for empowering women's voices through various platforms, including speaking stages and podcasting. Key Discussion Points: • Women Getting Visible: Christina explains that she helps women get found, whether through speaking on stage, podcasting, or other elements, to support their messages. She was inspired to create the organization after listening to women's "pain points" about getting their messages out when they felt no one was listening. • The Method: Christina's preferred platform for meeting women is LinkedIn, which she calls a "nice social platform" for women seeking opportunities to speak on podcasts and share their life's work. She also hosts two podcasts: the Women Getting Visible podcast and the Women's Health, Wealth, and Happiness podcast. • Conferences: In October 2025, Christina held her first in-person conference, which featured 21 speakers. A powerful element of the event was an open mic session for women who had never spoken on stage before to share their stories. Two conferences are already planned for next year. • Inspiration and Background: Christina's background includes 20 years as a ballroom dancer, where she helped people of all ages—from a two-year-old to an 87-year-old—get on stages and perform. She has taught over 20,000 adults and children to dance. Her family, including her father, who was in a Croatian band and on AM radio, and her mother, who loved the arts, were supportive of her creative journey. • Focus on Women: Christina focuses on women because they "struggle a little bit harder" in areas like reaching the C-suite. She notes that all-female conferences are valuable because women can relax, be emotional, and be themselves without feeling the need to adapt to men in the room. • The Ultimate Goal: Christina's ultimate goal is to take the stages to other countries, hand women the microphone, and hear their stories, believing that despite cultural differences, "we're all the same" and share the human experience. • Personal Inspiration: Her number one inspiration is her mother, an immigrant who came over after medical school, struggled, and moved forward with pride, despite English being her second language. Advice to Women: • 13-year-old girl: Have confidence, and don't spend time on naysayers, jealous people, or those who want to "trip you along the way". • 50-year-old woman: Share her story, be a mentor to younger girls, and find older women in their 70s and 80s to pass on their legacy to the next generation. • Mother of three, seeking herself: Find time for herself, even if it's only 30 minutes, and use journaling as a way to "get your thoughts out," listen to herself, and trust the path. • How Women Get Noticed: By speaking up with passion, finding joy, and talking about what makes them happy, which causes them to "glow" and draws people in.
