You asked me to record the set of 24 Giuliani etudes Op.48 and I hope this is a useful resource for students. The full title of this work when it was first published in 1813 was "Exercise for the guitar, containing 24 pieces of the greatest difficulty, including various preludes, passaggi and solo pieces." Over 200 years later, by today's standards, I don't think one could describe these pieces as "of the greatest difficulty" although as you will hear there are some extremely difficult sections!
