Canon M50 4K Video Test (Shot it in Beverly Hills) This is a Canon EOS M50 review. First I wasn’t gonna pick this camera up at the beginning. Because the specs that I have seen. It wasn’t the camera for me. But after I have seen a lot of test footage and review online. And it got me thinking, this camera could be a really fun C-Cam. As we also say, better late than never right? Also believe it or not. This M50 became the best selling camera of 2018. Even myself, took me quite a while to find one in store. So many places sold out. Even though this camera has a lot of limitations. Such as, 2.56x crop in 4K. No Dual Pixel AF in 4K mode. But I always like to give myself a Challenge. When the camera has a heavy crop. Then I go find a ultra wide angle lens. When the camera is bad in low light I go find a f/1.4 lens. When the camera has no log, I go download the EOS-HD C-Log Picture Profile. So there is always a way to work around. So if you don’t care too much about the down sides. The camera quality would actually surprise you. The 4K image is very lovely. The bitrate is decent (120mbps) Consider this Camera is just a $699.
